Great Trip!!!
Full Day Trip - Inshore on June 28, 20263 adults

Captain Dan and his deckhand Bill were fantastic! They are very knowledgeable about the area and knew how to fish for what was biting. They gave my brothers and I very personalized and friendly fishing experience and we had a blast! We all agreed, we would definitely recommend the Megan Beth to anyone looking to have a great time fishing! We will definitely be back for another trip in the future. Thanks Captain Dan!

It’s fishing…
1/2 Day Specials on September 7, 20254 adults1 child

Captain Dan and Chris were great. Weather didn’t cooperate for the short weekend we had. Had to cancel the Saturday trip due to weather and ended up rescheduling for Sunday. Boat was nice and clean with good sonar and plotter. Put us on fish and bait. Bite wasn’t on for the spread. We trolled for albie and bonito per my request. Very busy seas with heavy rain on and off. The group wasn’t all seasoned anglers. My grandson especially. Only his second time on the ocean and he became a little green around the gills! Chris kept his spirits up as best he could. All and all I would definitely go out again with Captain Dan and Chris. Also I left a couple lures at the rental house I wanted to run, all my fault, especially a Speed Pro 160 Deep in mackerel. Pulled the trebles it came with and rigged with a single j-hook out back. Just one of those days.

First Time Flukers Wowed by Megan Beth
Full Day Trip - Inshore on August 4, 20252 adults

I chartered the Megan Beth to take four family members who had never been fluke fishing before. Not only did Captain Dan and his mate put us on the fish, they were personable, helpful, and educated the first time flukers on how to catch them. We boated 50+ fluke in the course of our 8 hour trip with 8 large enough to go in the ice chest. The Megan Beth is exceptionally clean and well equipped for comfortable fishing. The Clarks Landing Marina is the cleanest marina I think I have ever been too. Definitely a plus for fishermen who want to bring the wife and kids along. Overall, I can't think of anything the Megan Beth lacked as far as my expectations for a charter. I give her Five Stars!

Angler's Choice

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.

I grew up in the New Jersey shore area and I have loved fishing since I was a kid. I have been fishing for more than 30 years in the waters of the Manasquan Inlet, and anywhere from New York to Cape May. Fishing tournaments are my passion, and I have participated in numerous local competitions. When it comes to the winnings, one of the most unforgettable ones was catching a 456 lb Mako Shark in Jersey Coast Shark Anglers (JCSA) Mako Tournament in 1995. I am also the president of Greater Point Pleasant Charter Boat Association, RFA, NJOA, and NACO, and a former president of Jersey Coast Shark Anglers. My goal is to make sure that both my guests and my crew have an amazing time while fishing together.
