Had a great 12 hour trip. Caught about 60 fish, b-liners, red snapper (2 we had to throw back), Gag Grouper (1 we had to throw back), 1 mahi mahi, trigger fish and some runners.

I’m a freshwater fisherman from Ohio, first time ever out on the ocean for me, wife and our 8yr old son and couldn’t ask for a better a trip. Firstmate Cross was great with our 8yr old, very very attentive to us, along with the captain.
We caught plenty of fish for our first half day trip, and took some home to fry up.
If I vacation in the area again I’ll definitely book another trip with them, but probably a full day next time.

It was our first sea fishing experience. It was a shared experience with another family of three. So the price was right without being lost in a crowd. Everyone had ample opportunity to jump on a bite. And we caught Spanish mackerel and 1 shark that we had to throw back. They cleaned and filet our Spanish Mackerel and bagged it for us. They were quite tasty when I fried them. They allowed a small cooler with drinks to be brought on. We did not but would probably bring some water next time. I brought a Pepsi and a cookie. It wasn’t super cold by the time I drink it. My 16 year old had a blast. I just wanted to ride the boat out. The fishing was just bonus. Sometimes all the pole’s were hitting at once and other times you’re just waiting. It was a blast even a little bout of showers just added to the experience. Definitely made it cool down a bit . We would definitely do it again! Highly recommended!
