Had a great time with Captain Dylan. He had a lot of patience with my son who can be a handful sometimes. It was a windy day, but we caught a lot of fish in spite of the tough conditions. Many species of snapper, a few grouper, and even a green moray eel which was fun and exciting to see. Thank you for the recommendation to Lorelei’s. They prepared the fish for us and it didn’t break the bank. Hope to come back and fish with him again.

This trip far exeeded my expectations. Captain Dylan took us out about 5 minutes from the dock. Chummed the water and had us on a 100 pound tarpon in 5 minutes. Unfortunately it spit the hook. Then 10 minutes later we hooked a 125 pound 6 foot monster that my dad fought for 1.5 hours. Captain Dylan did some amazing boat maneuvers to keep the giant tarpon off the shoreline and from running to the boat docks. Extremely knowledgeable with a focus on having a good time.  We fished in many different areas and caught several different species.  It was a great day and I would recommend BLACKWATER charters for all types of fishing in Islamorada.

Dylan was very knowledgeable and did his best to make sure we were on the fish. Caught several species and had a great day on the water. Would highly recommend for the whole family young or old!
