The captain and his mate were absolutely outstanding.  They are awesome fisherman, who were helpful and loads of fun.  In spite of a storm and battling red tide, they worked very hard to give us the best possible time.  They were very friendly and we were able to catch a few good fish.  Can’t wait to taste what they filet for us!!! Definitely a must go!!! You won’t be sorry! We will be back!

Was really disappointed that we only traveled 1/2 mile from Fort Myers Beach and fished in 12-15 feet of water. The Captain and Mate were pleasant to deal with, but we were expecting to run a little ways out in a 41’ boat and find fish bigger than 10-12 inches.

The captain got a call about another charter after ours, he cut our trip and hour short. So we paid $640 for a 3 hour trip. Would not recommend. We mentioned to the captain that we have another hour of fishing and he got short with us. Would not recommend

Poor communication, lacks transparency. 
I messaged the captain the day before the trip asking for any special instructions.  His response was that our reservation had changed from 12 PM to 8:30 AM.  I felt this was short notice but adjusted schedules w/ work and out-of-town guests. 
We arrived on the dock at 8:30 AM as instructed and found no boat in the slip at C6. 
I called the captain and was told that our trip had changed again due to bad weather and would be pushed back to the original 12:00 PM departure time.  He told me that he called the same morning at 7:40 to let me know and left a voice mail….We had already left home and have phones set to ignore calls while driving for safety.
When we did get back to the dock at 11:20 AM, we observed another party getting off the boat!  Bad weather you say? 
Regardless, captain stuck to his story about weather rather than owning up to his mistakes.
We fished near a pier off of Sanibel Island.  The weather wasn’t great, but no reason not to change locations or tactics after an hour plus of catching bait fish. 
I asked Myself it would have been better to just drive to the Sanibel pier if knew this is where we would fish.
On the plus side Nick (mate) was very attentive and offered suggestions to the captain to improve our trip and catch.
I provided this feedback to the captain when we returned from our trip and he still stuck to the weather excuse, but did apologize for the “mix up”.
You might ask if I’d write the same review if we landed fish and had a great experience.  My answer yes I would.  I don’t like being lied to.
We paid full price for the charter and tipped the mate 20% for 2 lbs of Southern King.
Hope you have a better experience.
