Had an awesome time with the Size Matters crew.  They were prepared and ready for us when we arrived, which allowed us to get onto the water with no delay.  Captain Reg told us exactly what the plan for the day was and what type of fish we’d be finding.  Smooth and comfortable ride 16 miles from shore.  Had an Amberjack on my line 5 minutes after dropping it in!  The crew was friendly, informative, and very helpful with our inexperienced group.  No complaints at all other than the day had to come to an end!

We were greeted at the marina as scheduled and headed out to the reefs, wrecks, and humps to fish.  The captain did a great job of getting us on the fish.  Yellowtail and silk snapper along with other species were willing to take our baits. We were taken to six different locations in pursuit of catching fish and the captain knew where to go along with how to catch them.  The captain was knowledgeable, personable, and willing to work to get you on the fish.  I wouldn’t hesitate to charter another trip with Size Matters.

We booked a half day trip on the Size Matters charter for reef fishing.  There were 5 of us that included 2 teen age girls.
Captain Regina did a great job.  She didn’t have a crew member to help, but she handled the job very well.  She took a lot of time describing the different kind of fish that were on the reef, especially for the girls.  She even rigged a pole and caught at needle fish to show them what it looked like.  We caught a couple of sharks, parrot fish, a remora, as well as yellow tail snapper and a small grouper.
We were able to take home 9 legal yellow tails and the grouper.  Enough for a big fish dinner.  Wish we could have caught a few more legal size keepers, but I guess that is why they call it fishing and not catching.

We had an excellent day out with Capt Regina and Kevin. Captain is very knowledgeable and helpful. Boat was accurately prepared with supplies. We had a beautiful day and great water.
Kevin was amazing with helping with my lack of knowledge and setting me up with the right rods depending on fish. Gave me some great pointers.
Capt Regina did a great job at cleaning our fish and we all enjoyed tacos and drinks at Lorelei’s together after.

Best fishing trip ever captain Regina and mate Eric were very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and did everything possible to catch fish, especially one very large one. It was a wonderful trip. And a very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will most definitely use them when I return. Francis T.
