The day started with stops for fuel and bait that took about 45 minutes before we left the harbor. This resulted in shortening our half day 5 hour trip close to 1hour. The guide was grouchy, unfriendly and spoke minimal english. When we tried to engage he shook his head, frowned and acted imposed upon.ย The guide did know his stuff when we came upon marlin. Caught and released a younger 80lber. That was the highlight! After that it was slow going and seemed that the guide was checked out the rest of the trip. The inability of the guide to engage and his demeanor greatly affected our experience.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortanley gas station was closed the day before and had to make a stop. But it doesnt take more than 10 min we dont have a big gas tank. I mean its a 70us tank. Theres a super market we told you you could get a coffe or somoething. Also you checked in earlier and told you to just wait till check in time and you said its ok. We have to check out with port captain and stop to buy bait. Its part of the trip. And cant avoid that. Captain is not 100% english spoken remember we are in mexico. We work hard and comunicate ok. You had a great fight and thibk its not fair from tou to rate like this. Thank you and have an amazing day.

Seas were rough, language barrier a problem My Spanish is SoSo and the captains engkish is not good. The captain needed to communicate what he wanted from us a little better to be successfull. The captain put us on fish and tried really hard. Boat was nice and my wife was happy there was a restroom.

Personally I think the smaller boats are being out-fished and outclassed by the larger boats in the area.ย The day I went the fishing was poor and captain Juan did what he could to try to get on the fish.ย At the end of the day the catch was 0 oh well, a bad day fishing is better than any day working and they do call it fishing and not catching.
