What a great experience you’ll have! Boat and Captain are awesome, and both one of a kind. We enjoyed the trip out through Oregon Inlet jamming to Jimmy Buffett. Capt put up right on the fish and was so quick and attentive when we had a fish-on. He was extremely knowledgeable of the waterway, and was delighted to teach us about what we were fishing for, why we were fishing with the tackle he provided, and even how all of the electronics work. We had a fun time fishing with Capt Ryan. Unfortunately, the red drum and mackerel we were trying for were not biting (beautiful day but conditions had changed due to a storm the day before- we appreciated Ryan’s flexibility as we were originally scheduled on the day of the storm!). We did see some dolphins and caught a bunch of ribbon fish though which we used for fish tacos that night! Fresh catches are the best! Great experience for us and our kids. Captain Ryan was great to work with!

I highly recommend Captain Ryan!  The trip was great and he found a number of pockets of fish to enable us to have a great catch and fun for all on board.  Very clean and equipped boat that quickly enabled us to get out the channel and fish.  We will definitely book again when looking for a charter in OBX!

We had a very pleasant trip with Ryan. We were on the smaller boat but that wasn’t an issue at all. We started with a nice ride out of the sound to the sea. Ryan was great about explaining the equipment and was quick to see when we had fish on. Often times seeing it before we did even though we were watching closely. We did the 9 hour charter. It was the best charter I’ve ever been on by far! Ryan put us on fish all day long! The whole trip we had fish every few minutes! Will definitely be back for sure! Very professional and courteous! Answered any questions we had about fishing and the area with incredible knowledge of the of both! Couldn’t ask for a better day on the water! Can’t say enough great things about it!
