Captain Ryan was great! Super friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. His boat was the cleanest I’ve had on a charter and is state-of-the-art! The whole family had fun and we caught more than enough fish to feed 10 for dinner. We also had lots of dolphin sightings which was a plus. We highly recommend booking with X-Spearmint! There’s a reason Ryan has so many great reviews.  He is everything you’d want in a charter, he was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and his boat was immaculate.  We caught a ton of fish and that was because he was in touch with the other captains to stay on top of where the fish were. If you’re looking for a charter, you definitely should book with Ryan.

Great experience!! Trip with 4 anglers, one being 6 yrs old. Captain Ryan was experienced, boat was well equipped, and we had plenty of room to move around. Trip was a few days after the tail end of a hurricane went through the southern edge of the OBX, but even that didn’t keep Captain Ryan from finding us some fish.

Captain Ryan was great. Wind was blowing on the ocean so we had to change plans (Captain would have stayed but we had two in our party seasick real quick). We trolled on the sound and caught some nice mackerel. Captain Ryan answered all our questions and offered great insight on fishing and local history. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Ryan was an amazing captain. We were able to haul in over 30 Spanish mackerel along with various other species of fish. Captain Ryan was extremely informative with everything we could have wanted to know. The boat is in top condition and makes for an easy and comfortable day.
