Given the circumstances that were out of anyones control, Capt Ryan was phenomenal once again.  Even though the fog prohibited us from going out to do what we all wanted to do Capt Ryan kept us on the fish and it was a blast . We definitely look forward to seeing Capt Ryan again next year.

We had an enjoyable 6:30a 4-hour trip on 7/12. Four adults and 5 yo boy. 5 yo had great time on the boat and got to reel in fish. Captain Ryan is very personable and professional. Boat was clean and comfortable with nice seating, private toilet, etc. We did inshore trip. Captain told us that the day before they were catching a lot of ribbonfish so we decided to try our luck. Took a little bit of time to get out of the sound but enjoyed the boat ride. Fishing was slow at first but slow for all boats in our area. Captain Ryan put us on fish (see picture) and we had better luck than most other boats. Captain Ryan made fillets for us when we finished, provided bag for fillets, and provided cooking instructions. Would definitely go again next year for inshore trip or try sound trip.

I’m a extremely happy with the 6 hour trip captain Ryan took me and my dog on. Ryan was very knowledgeable about everything a good captain should be. He knew the area,what type of fish to go after,what baits to use and all his equipment was very nice including his very beautiful very well maintained fish slaying chariot. Ryan was so kind to get a bean bag out for my best friend/dog to lay on to take a nap and be comfortable. I ended up catching 6 bluefish and 9 spanish mackerel. Ryan was nice enough to not only clean our catch at the end of the day but showed me how to properly fillet each of the 2 species of fish. I definitely plan on going back out for another 6 hour trip when I return in September and I might even try to get a group of friends together to go on a all day trip in july if possible. I can’t thank captain Ryan enough for showing me a absolutely great time fishing for spanish mackerel in the first week of june. I give his charter boat service and overall performance as a captain 5 stars and you couldn’t meet a more friendly person to spend the day with fishing. He was more than happy to talk and answer any and all questions I had.

We booked with Ryan because of so many stellar reviews and for good reason. He called the day before to see if we could move up our trip by one hour to beat the incoming weather. I really appreciate little things like that. He wanted to make sure we got the time we paid for. During the trip my youngest daughter started feeling sick and he made it a point to check on her. The other reason for choosing his boat was an enclosed bathroom. Having three girls under 14 it’s important to have some privacy when possible. This was also a nice touch. We are coming back in June and plan on booking again!
