Today Captain Perry earned his money, a difficult day to fish. None of the boats were boating much and we tried different rigs, different depths but for first 3 hours nothing worked. The last hour we tried jigging and landed 5 strippers 22-29”.  Only 1 keeper but he made lemonade out of a lemon day. He and his mate Derek were great to talk to and the Boat is comfortable

We had a great trip. The four of us caught 51 fish 49 were stripers . The captain Jeff Perry was great in finding where the fish were. His first mate did a great showing us how to gig for the fish.

Captain Jeff and Tyler made this a memorable experience for my wife and I.  They put us on the fish and kept us busy reeling in the fish.  They provided great tips about the local area, and even helped us get the fish cooked and served by the Raw Bar in the Marina.  We will definitely be using Captain Jeff and First Light Sportfishing again.  Thanks for the fun.

We should’ve been rained out. Captain Jeff wouldn’t have it. He offered to take us out as long as the weather held up— We fished for 2 hours, caught fish, had them expertly filleted by his son Jason, and were charged less than half the rate. Amazing. Captain Jeff then walked us to the Harbor Cafe (with our fish in hand), spoke to the chef, and we dined on our fresh caught fish. What should have been a canceled trip ended up to be a fantastic day.
