I booked the half day trip with Captain Adnaan and was more than happy with what i got! We went out with his smaller boat (22 (?) feet as far as i remember), which gives you the chance to be close to the fishing action and see everything he does to hook one. He also has a big one which is suitable for a bigger group of people or if you are looking for more comfort. He was really friendly and easy to talk to and it was easy to see that he has a deep knowledge about fishing in these waters. I like how he combined different techniques to improve the chances to catch not only marlin but also tuna etc. He told me right from the start which rod is most likely to catch yellowfin and just like he said it was the one with both strikes - one lost, one caught (26.5kg). We were the only boat around to hook them. Great fight and a lot of fun to catch. Adnaan was really busy all the time checking for birds, checking the gps/fishfinder and adapting the techniques depending on what was going on around us. Still we had a nice chat. He took me to see the dolphins on our way out and on the way back we saw mahi mahi jumping high out of the water. Unfortunatelly they did not take our lures.  All in all it was a great day and i strongly recommend a trip with Adnaan - here you are in good hands to catch some big ones and have a good time even when you are waiting for the strike!

I always have a great time on Seaduction with Adnaan. He is actually the third captain I reached out to when I moved to Mauritius. Since then if i’m booking a boat i’m booking Seaduction. Adnaan is super knowledgable and has all the right gear. I book him about once a month and I always catch fish no matter what season it is or the weather conditions. Obviously when the weathers real bad he recommends we stay closer to shore for safety reasons but small and medium game fishing is great also. I’ve always felt safe on the boat even when the conditions turn on us suddenly when we’re miles out. If your in mauritius and like to troll, jig, dropshot, big game, small game, swim with dolphins, watch whales, pretty much anything on the water - book Seaduction. You wont regret it.

The best boat trip I have ever had in Mauritius!  My first trip with Captain Adnaan was for dolphin & whale watching. What an exquisite experience it was. We had so much fun together with the crew.  After that we went fishing. It was my first time fishing but with Captain Adnaan’s experience and skill, I made my first fish which was a giant trevally and my 2 other friends made Yellowfin tuna. I was so happy that I booked another trip with Adnaan.

My second trip with Captain Adnaan was an excursion of dolphin watching and lunch on Île aux Bénitiers because my family really wanted to see dolphins. So we started the day very early(which later pays) with dolphin watching and then went to Crystal Rock. We were almost alone with the dolphins and at Crystal Rock, which was exactly the privacy my family and I were looking for. We could take photos and swim comfortably.  After that, we went to lunch on Île aux Bénitiers.  The food was so good and we had an amazing day with Captain Adnaan. My family loved it, so did I.

It was by far the best explanation we had. Started the day with dolphins watch and swim. It didn’t take long for us to hook our first red groupers, few of us even never fished before. What was even more amazing was the hospitality we got at Ile Aux Benitiers: the people and especially the deliciously prepared food. To our delight we even had the chance to swim in the crystal clear water surrounded with fish.

I definitely recommend a trip with Adnaan. He’s knowledgeable, welcoming and cool.

Experiencing a trip with Seaduction is a extraordinary adventure in the south west of Mauritius island. The Captain has a good knowledge of the seabed and how to catch good big fishes!
With Seaduction I discovered:
1. the south west of Mauritius being on a boat
2. swim and snorkel behind the most beautiful coral reefs
3. see dolphins and whales in their natural habitat
4. catch one of the biggest fish in big game fishing
5. and the nice music playing with the sunset on the way back to the shores is just indescribable..
