Captain Steve was great.  He put us on some fish and my 3 boys had a great time!!

Captain Crews and Logan take their responsibility to their clients very seriously and are all business. They did a great job and worked hard for us all day. I had a special request to not go snapper fishing in the middle of snapper season, I wanted something different, I wanted to chase big gamefish with a live baits or lures. We discussed our options and settled on trolling out for kings and Spanish on our way to catch amberjack’ with lice bait. We stopped to catch baits just outside the pass but they weren’t cooperating so Captain Crews adjusted the plan and headed for a rubble pile where we dropped cut bait for ruby red lips to use for bait. Logan kept our baits fresh and lines in the water after quick fish removals to make quick work of bait catching. After pulling in a couple dozen bait fish, along with a some trigger fish, small reds and a vermilion snapper in a very short time, we headed for the amberjack spot. Logan is well organized and runs the deck like a machine, switching gear, prepping baits and rigging lines so we were ready when we got to the spot. Once the captain found the jacks it didn’t take long to hook up with a big amberjack. Captain Crews and Logan kept us on big fish all day to the point our arms were worn out. Amberjacks were out of season so all were released to fight another day, however, the barracuda, Spanish mackerel and vermillion snapper came home with us. If you want a truly professional, well ran trip this is a great choice.
