We enjoyed our outing with Off Duty Charters. Lines were in the water in about 25 mins from departure, and we hooked on to some sharks soon after. Ended the trip at a second spot with a nice hammerhead, which was a lot of fun (and a lot of fight!). Enjoyed being on the boat with Captain Richard and talking about our families. He’s a very nice guy.

We recently went on a fishing trip in Hilton Head with Captain Richard from Off Duty Charters, and it was fantastic! He was amazing with the kids, keeping our lines baited, making sure we were always in the best spots, and adding plenty of laughs with his great sense of humor. Captain Richard’s expertise was evident when he helped us land a 22-inch redfish. His communication for scheduling was excellent, and he adjusted our time to match the tide for optimal fishing. We truly appreciated his knowledge and dedication. Highly recommend Captain Richard and Off Duty Charters for a memorable and fun fishing experience!

Captain Richard was awesome from start to finish. We weren’t sure how the weather was going to be for our evening outing but we chose to go out and didn’t regret it. We caught ten sharks - totaling about 150lbs in our 3 hours on the water. We caught for black nose that weight between 30-40lbs and then 6 black tips that weighed 4-5lbs.

This by far was the best guided trip we have ever taken through FishingBooker. My son was so excited he set a countdown timer for when our trip was and afterwards when I asked how awesome it was on a scale of 1-10 - he said 1 MILLION.

Three of us all caught several shark and Captain Richard was awesome in wrangling them into the boat and letting us take some epic pictures. I also appreciated that we caught and released the sharks - preserving their awesomeness

Will 1000% book Captain Richard again the next time we are back in Hilton Head and you should book him too.

We got out to the first spot and had sharks on about 20 minutes later.  I was expecting mostly smaller sharks but our first was a 5 foot blacktip that my son battled with for a good amount of time.  Unfortunately the shark snapped free right as we were brining it on board.  But soon we were on another good size blacktip and then a few minutes later both my son and daughter had nice size sharpnoses on the line.  We moved spots a couple of times as the bite slowed down we caught a bonnet head to cap the evening.  We caught several sharks and had a couple others get away. It was a beautiful evening and Capt. Richard was a great host and guide.  He is laid back and friendly but also worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.  Would definitely book again on our next trip we had a blast.

I booked a trip late December just after Christmas to celebrate my sons birthday.  The weather was cold, wet and windy, but Captain Martinez took all the care to make sure we were comfortable and had a great time!  I couldn’t recommend him enough.  Great communication prior to launch, easy directions to our meeting place, great boat and equipment.  We’ll be booking with Off Duty charters for our next trip!
