My soon-to-be 7 year old loves fishing, so we booked this fishing trip to celebrate his birthday. He had a blast! Johan and Junior were so helpful and made sure everyone was having a good time and getting in on the fishing action. My 4 year old - who is less enthusiastic about fishing - had so much fun. Both Johan and Junior would get a fish hooked on the rod and then pass their rods to the kids to have them help reel them in. My 7 year old also was able to hook some on his own and reel them in. He was so happy - worth every penny to see his smile! Can’t wait to book again next year.

Yes, we were fortunate enough to catch fish which is not always the case no matter where you’re fishing. Captain Johan and 1st mate Junior put my wife and I at ease before we even got on the boat. I will likely remember the Captain’s stories of Aruba and the history of the sunken ships, etc. as much as I will the fishing. The personal attention continued when we got off the boat. Junior cleaned our catch and guided us to a restaurant right on shore where we brought our fillets to be cooked for our shore lunch. We ate pan-fried queen triggerfish, grouper, and yellowtail snapper, less than an hour out of the water. How cool is that.

We went out for a three hour bottom fishing trip. In shore fishing to avoid the rough Aruban waters. My son (12) loves to fish and had an exceptional time. We caught fish the entire time. Everything from yellow snapper and mangrove snapper to triggerfish and a rainbow runner. Had barracuda stealing our catch as well! Both the captain and the mate were great guys.All in all a super fun experience.  I was hoping to give my son a great fishing experience that isn’t the rough and tough Aruban fishing experience of deep sea fishing. We got exactly what we wanted. Looking forward to booking again.

It was my 11 year olds first time salt water fishing. The Captain and first mate made it a great experience and he was catching all kinds of fish what felt like every 5 minutes. He describes the day as “the best day of my life” so that’s a win in my book. Would recommend to other first timers too

Perfect casual sunset trip for me, my wife, and twin 11 year old boys.  We did bottom fishing at 20’ right off tres trapi and had nice steady action the whole time catching small grouper, grunt, needlefish, squirrel eye, and yellow fin snapper.

We are not hard-core fisherman, and this was the perfect family friendly fishing trip for our first time in Aruba. The location had a strong steady wind, but the waves were not bad, and no one was uncomfortable. Kids never got bored, and I was honestly a little worried one of them might be, but he even said he was surprised how much fun he had.

Jay and Junior were great with the kids: they kept one or two hooks for them in the water at all times, setting the hook on the fish, and then letting the kids reel them in.

They showed me how to bait, work the line, and unhook the fish that I caught so I could get the full experience, but Junior probably hooked 6 for the kids l for every 1 of mine, haha. The yellow fin snapper I caught was the highlight of the trip fpr me.

Back at the dock, Junior fileted all the fish we kept, and we had a great meal last night.

Couple notes: arrive 15 min early tp find parking. We ended up in a garage, but it was only $4 usd. Moomba has free parking if there is any, but at 5pm it was packed.

Tips were greatly appreciated, and this meant a lot to us, so we were as generous as possible.
