Fantastic trip on the Fish Witch with captain TJ and crew. These guys had us on fish before we could get two lines in the water. They were experienced and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and caught fish. Good luck spotting a fish on a line before captain TJ, just be ready to get on that RIGHT DOWNRIGGER!!! Even if we didn’t max out our fish quota in <4 hours I’d still give them a 4.9 star review. I had to deduct 0.1 stars because captain wouldn’t let us drag behind the boat on a tube on the way in. Regardless, we will be back! Highly recommend

This was our second trip with them. Family KD six with a 5yr, 8yr, 13yr and 19yr old boys. The captain and mate were very attentive to my kids making sure that each one caught at least one fish.  It was a day full of Grunts, Black Sea Bass, Ring Tail Fish, that we got to keep and 3 amazing snappers that we had to grow back since it was out of season but what a fight they gave.  We will be back again.

Tj and Zack were great.  Weather was iffy but Tj made a suggestion on an alternate route and had a fantastic trip.  Over 70 fish caught.  My kids 5, 11 and 12 all had fun on their first fishing trip.  Tj even took time to show my son how to clean a fish so he could work on a fishing merrit badge for Boy Scouts.  All around great guys and a great trip. We will be booking again next year.

I’m going to give my super critical points 1st to get that out of the way. 1) While we were there early as requested, the mate was running late so we couldn’t leave until 6:20am and the time wasn’t added onto the backend. 2) DISCLAIMER: this 1st impression has a big BUT….. the Capt. and 1st mate were both young. 21 and 22 I believe they said. That being said…. While we were ALL apprehensive, it lasted a short bit of time. These boys without a doubt know EXACTLY what they were doing. Our raised eyebrow was very quickly at ease. With us having boat and water experience, it wasn’t even a question as they displayed their knowledge, safety, and professionalism beautifully. Well done young men. Well done. You could visibly see their level of experience on the water and as parents of a son the same age….. it was a trip of pride over how they handled themselves. We were thoroughly impressed.
We caught 15 fish to bring home. Plenty to split between households and freeze for a minute. All Spanish except for 1 blue. Would have liked to go out farther than the coast line however you can not ever control the water and it was just more beneficial to stay closer for a more consistent catch. Again, another display of their knowledge and professionalism as they knew that.
Filleted our fish with ease perfectly. No fish was wasted due to hack jobs. Again…. Showing experience. Would book again. Will book again. As locals, happy to support and looking forward to see these young men continue to grow in they’re craft.
It was wonderful grasping a few moments of precious time with family.

Great trip only thing was wish we would have booked a longer trip but we will in the future captain a crew where very nice an they put us on the fish
