I think the best testament to how much we enjoyed fishing with Captain Rudy is the fact that we booked a trip with him just 9 days after our last trip. Today we had the pleasure of having his son Michael as our mate. These two experienced fisherman work harder than any crew we’ve ever had. Weather was chilly and raining. Captain Rudy gave us the option to cancel but my son was leaving the next day and wanted to fish. Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Used many different methods to attract the fish. Great time definitely would choose Papa Bear for another trip.

We started off the day with very choppy 4 to 5 ft seas. As the waves calmed, we started catching….half day trip and wanted more! We caught dinner and enjoyed the personable treatment we received. We will be back!

My sons and I had a great time fishing with Rudy and Mike. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. We would certainly recommend them and look forward to fishing with them in the future!

This trip was a birthday gift for my 84 year old father in-law. I want to say the Captain and First Mate went out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. I will be back.
