We have been fishing for as long as we can remember. Dad had a pole in our hand when we could stand and hold a pole. We have fished from the streams and rivers of MI to the Great Lakes, Alaska, Vermont, and even Martha’s Vineyard. But we had never fished in FL before. So my 3 brothers and I decided to take our 81 year old dad to FL with his 4 boys and do some fishing. As soon as we met Jim we knew we had made the right choice. 1st He made it a point to know all of our names. Once we got on board he told us how the weather fronts had been affecting the fishing and we had booked an inland trip. But if it was all right with us he wanted to take us out to give us the best chance at catching fish. And that he did! He took our dad back with him to give him the primo spot on the boat and my brothers and I went to fishing ourselves. Jim’s 1st mate was top notch. He worked his ass off to make sure our lines were in the water. Weather tying on new rigs because the tackle got caught in the rocks or simply baiting hooks. I wish we had booked our whole weekend with Jim but sadly we did not as we had no prior experience. Our Saturday full day charter was a complete let down after being with Jim. I cannot say this strongly enough as a fellow fisherman. JUST STOP HERE! Stop looking stop thinking about who to book with and choose Jim from Florida Fishing Charters.  His 36’ boat is the perfect fishing machine. And it does have a bathroom on board if you need.  Although you may be surprised to try and find it when you get on if you aren’t familiar with boats. Lol. But in all seriousness Jim and his 1st mate are professional, personable, kind, excellent fisherman themselves and Jim is an amazing Captain. Please do yourself a favor and choose this charter. My dad even called me on his way home back to Michigan to make sure I was going to give Jim an excellent review. I told him I definitely would.
Jim, THANK YOU SO MUCH for such an amazing afternoon you made our whole trip in just one afternoon. I have already told my wife we are going back and I am going to take her on a fishing trip with Jim. He is that amazing! Thanks again Cap!

This was our first time going on a trip like this.  My 3 teenage boys loved it.  Captain Jim was fantastic.  He just knew where the fish would be.  It seemed like we were pulling in a fish every few minutes and when it slowed we would find another honey pot.  Captain Jim was caring for all on board.  He helped my boys fish, but also made sure Mom had some shade.  Brian the deck hand was amazing baiting the hooks, collecting the fish and cleaning our haul at the end of the trip.  I would recommend this charter to any family looking for a great time.

We had an awesome time with Capt. Jim, and First Mate Bryan, we wanted to fish and we did. They made sure we were satisfied, which we were, and we were even releasing fish as we had enough. Our son limited out in 30 mins, in snapper, and we caught many more. Highly recommend these gentlemen as they make you feel like family.  Can’t thank them enough. THANKS CAPT.
