A group of 8 of us went down to Puerto Vallarta for a bachelors trip and this fishing charter was the main event. We ended up going with the 6 hour inshore fishing tour and it was the best money we spent on the trip.

The captain has over 40 years of experience on the water and his adult son is apart of the crew; great to support the family business. They both and the additionally crew member were very friendly and informative, the boat was easy to find and start the day, and they did so much work to ensure we were constantly ready to catch the next fish. Additionally, the meal/snack they prepared with the freshly caught Skipjack tuna was delicious; the best food we had on our trip!! We ended the day with each person catching at least one 20+ inch jack fish, a Jack Crevalle, and even catching a trophy fish - a 91 inch Sailfish. The only thing I would recommend is knowing a bit of Spanish as it would make communicating much easier but even if you just speak English these guys will have you catching fish in no time!

My family and I had an unforgettable day with Alfredo and crew. We caught a
a lot of fish - Skip Jack, Bonito, and almost landed a jack crevalle. They were quick to change bait, and techniques to ensure we caught fish throughout the trip. Captain Alfredo spotted Humpback Whales leaping out of the water as we were heading back to the marina and made a detour so we could check them out.

From the moment we arrived, the crew made us feel welcome with coffee, fresh cut fruit, and cookies for the kids. Special shout-out to Manuel for his delicious fresh guacamole, and the highlight of the day was definitely the sashimi and ceviche he prepared right on the boat with our catch.

Great people, incredibly knowledgeable, and a ton of fun. Would book again.

Great communication, great boat, and great crew! They really went above and beyond. If you want to sit back and relax, they do literally all the work for you! You can jump in and do work too if you want, but it’s your choice. They made the trip so relaxing. Once we got the lines out we were hooking fish! We didn’t get that 300 pound marlin we hoped for haha but that’s ok, we got lots of bait fish and ceviche fish pretty much immediately, and then at the very end we caught two 20 or 25 pound Amberjacks. They cleaned them all up for us, butchered and all. We took them back and froze them in a cooler with packs. They made it through the entire flight and were still frozen solid when we got back to the states!

Excellent experience. I think if you go during a better month you will catch much more. The boat was also very comfortable. I was pretty seasick for the first 2 or 3 hours (first time that ever happened to me… be ready just in case) so I was very happy to have that bathroom on board. Fortunately all the dramamine and other stuff I took helped and the second half was much better for me.

We had the lucina 3, and brought four of us on board, plus three crew, so seven in total. We had plenty of room to move around. I even laid down on the couch for a few hours to recover and there were still plenty of seats.

Captain Alfredo and his crew were very nice and communicated well before and during the trip. We caught some bait fish on the way out, but that was it. The crew worked hard all day so I don’t blame them.  Sometimes the fish just aren’t biting. The captain radioed other boats and no one was having a lot of luck so maybe just a bad day for some reason. We did see some wales. The boat had Bluetooth to play our music. The beer was cold.

Great captain, Alfredo!  Great crew. We caught 12 fish in the first 2 hours. Boat was big and very comfortable! They cleaned and filtered the fish on board and even made us a delicious guacamole and ceviche with some of our catch. Will definitely come back with this team again!
