We caught a big jack crevalle 10 minutes from the dock, but that was it for the day. Just too windy to fish seriously, and way too windy/choppy to snorkel. Tried trolling for dorado, both before and after lunch, but just too rough. Can’t blame the captain, as he tried hard all day to make things happen. As they say “that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching”. Would be a great trip in calm seas, I think.

Captain Gabriel put us on the fish again!  My wife and I had our best day of deep sea fishing ever. It’s great to fish with guys as passionate as I am about catching fish.  They worked very hard to make sure we were in the action and made sure my wife and I were comfortable.  I highly recommend them.

We had an amazing morning with Captain Gabriel and his son. The two of them really understand fishing in the Puerto Vallarta area. They put us on fish almost immediately and made the most of our short morning trip. The boat was very clean and well-kept. All the gear and tack worked flawlessly. I will definitely book with him again on my next visit to Puerto Vallarta.

Captain Gabrial and deckhand Alanso were fantastic!! Great communication before the trip!!  The boat and the equipment was first rate!! They worked hard to get us into fish and we had nonstop action.  17 Bonita and one sierra!! We saw whales and turtles as a bonus!  I highly recommend Captain Gabrial and the Tres Estrellas super ponga!!! Tight lines!!

I hired Gabriel for a full day of deep sea fishing and let me tell you here, trip of a life time! I’m an avid fresh water fisherman but this trip was something that blowed my mind! Never chased “Dorados” Mahi-mahi before but oh man these fish are fun and can put up a fight! Casted from the front deck and bang game is on!!
