Capital Gabriel and his crew were awesome. He took us to where the fish were and never gave up… He got us our first tuna within the first 45 minutes.. When the bite died down he got us on mahi mahi.. He did everything he could to get as many fish in the boat as he could.. Really knowledgeable..

Capitain Gabriel and Nico gave us one of the best fishing days of my and my sons life. We were out at 7am and on fish within and hour, and the stayed on fish for next next 2 and one half. We ran out of live bait eventually and collectively decided to call it a day. All in, we probably landed 30 fish ... mostly small to medium Mahi (but they were fun as hell to catch), as well as a few Skipjack Tuna and a single large Needfish—which was pretty cool to see. Gabriel and Nico were super good with showing my 7 year old son around the gear and patient with him when he kept dropping the fish during pictures. Great value, great experience, great guys to fish with in PV.

We had a great day. Captain Gabrielle is the best! Before we even got on the boat we talked about our expectations for the day. He made it very clear to us that if we wanted to practice catch and release he was 100% for that. An earlier review of this captain made comments about him not wanting to release a catch and supposedly clubbing it to death. I find these accusations very difficult to believe.  Captain Gabrielle was very conscientious and interested in taking care of the environment. One fish that we did catch was out of the water a little too long in order for us to remove the hook and unfortunately looked like it wasn’t going to make it when we put it back in the water. Captain Gabrielle was visibly disappointed . The day started out slow and we were not able to catch any mahi.
I told Captain Gabrielle I also wanted to catch a rooster fish. It was obvious to me that he knew these waters very well. We went right to an area that was known to have rooster fish. We saw quite a few of them in the water but unfortunately were not able to get any of them to bite. As you can see in the photograph I did Catch a beautiful Jack and my friend pulled in a nice skipjack tuna. We caught another fish throughout the day, needlefish, Bonita, among others. Captain and crew went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The boat was well-maintained and comfortable. The captain even offered to share his lunch with us.  Captain Gabrielle was knowledgeable and aware of his surroundings constantly looking for bird signs or churning in the water.  I may not have caught my rooster fish but I certainly had the best chartered fishing experience of my life. There are no guarantees when you go fishing. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching. For what some would’ve thought was a slow day on the water we had a blast. The next time we are in Puerto Vallarta you can believe we will book with Captain Gabrielle

My husband and I were in PVR for vacation and were looking for a fishing charter to book while we were there. I chose Super Panga Tres Estrellas because it came highly rated on Fishing Booker and had solid-seeming reviews. We were not disappointed. We went out on a quick 4-hour trip with Niko and had a great time. He was extremely hard working, professional, and very knowledgable, both about fishing and the local history. He was also just a really fun personality and did everything he could to make sure we had a great time. I’d definitely recommend this charter, and next time we go back, we’re definitely going out for longer!

Captain Gabriel put us on fish, we had no equipment issues, and we will definitely be calling him again for our next trip.
