Totally understand it is what it is…why they call it fishing and not catching! But we spent 11 hrs on the water and 2 bait fish and a triggerfish….we did spot a Marlin fin chasing out bait!!! And also a pod of spinner dolphin that swam along the bow! A beautiful day on the water and Captain Gabriel and his partner Omar tried very hard to find us the fish…just one of those days…apparently of the 12 charter boats on the water only 4-5 fish caught in total!

Capt Gabriel is an outstanding skipper, totally familiar with the area, the fish and the many friendly skippers who happily share current fishing in and outside the bay to help make the best experience possible for all.

What a fantastic morning!!! My kids caught at least 10 Dorado in 2 hours, with all four poles having fish on at the same on TWO occasions.  Also caught some Bonita and had 2 Rooster fish on the hook, too! Captain Gabriel and First Mate Nico told great stories of Puerto Vallarta, and knew exactly where the fish were. We all had a fantastic time!

Booked a trip last minute with Gabriel.  We showed up 15 minutes early and he was ready to go.  His boat is based at the Amapas Pier.  Boat ran great and him and his deck hand were awesome.  He put us on some Jacks first and then when the bite cooled off we went to find a weed line.  Hit the weed line for a bit but we’re only catching small Mahi so he took us to a third spot where we caught some bigger Mahi.  We caught 20 fish overall and it was a great morning.  I will fish with Gabriel...
