It was very easy to book and meet up with Gabriel at the pier. He was so friendly and tried really hard to help us catch a fish! They just weren’t biting our day. It was so gorgeous to cruise around the bay. He also took us snorkeling and knew when to wait till the larger boats had left so we would have more space to see the fish. Fabulous snorkeling! Some of the equipment was pretty old (a flipper broke, etc.) but overall it was alright and we had a great time with the fish! We did not really like that the beach we went to was designed to have us buy lunch at a certain restaurant - but we’ve learned that’s how tourist experiences are in Mexico. We had packed our own lunch and the restaurant still let us sit at their tables so that was nice.

14 Dec 2015. Four of us went out on an 8 hour trip w Gabriel. Altho we hoped to go farther and deeper, Gabriel recommended we stay along the “tide line” in the bay, as conditions were (based on his experience and a charter the day prior) probably quite rough for a 27 foot open boat. Most likely a good decision! We departed at 7AM and caught 2 decent Mahi-Mahi by 1030. We had a couple big hits later on, but were unable to get them in before broken lines (one tangled reel and another run over by a near-by boat!) Gabriel is a great Captain and loves to fish—I think he said he’d been out 240 times this year alone! At one point we had 7-8 lines on the water. Marina Peines is easy to find and depart from. When using the FishingBooker site, remember that the remainder of the payment is due in cash after returning - it is NOT charged on your card (only the downpayment is!) All in All—a good day on the water. Thanks Gabriel !

No fishing because there currently is no good fishing. Spent the day whale watching, snorkeling and on a private beach instead.  Company made up for lack of fishing.
