Thought the person I booked with was going to be our captain but it was some other people. We drove around the bay endlessly for 6 hours without catching anything. Never saw them use live bait or check the lines. Honestly it was a waste of time and money. Crew seemed inexperienced and unknowledgeable as to where the good fishing spots. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I booked the trip through Gabriel. I asked, well in advance, if we could use only light tackle/spin gear and fly fishing if it ended being the right conditions. Was told yes no problem. Gabriel never showed up. Instead, his brother Carlos showed up and then handed us off to 2 other guides. The two other guides were unprepared for what we requested. They only had heavy duty big game rods and reels. The fishing was poor, which I can’t blame the captains, however they didn’t try anything different... More

The fishing was great and the guides made it fun. Wish we would have booked several days with them. Next year for sure!!

We had such a blast and Gabriel did everything possible to make sure we got a fish! He is a good teacher and he is fun to hang with!
