Capt John was amazing. He was flexible and despite the waters not being ideal for fishing, we caught a lot โ maybe close to 30. He was entertaining and fun to be with during the entire trip. He even cleaned up the fish and suggested to have it cooked at Mikeeโs. It was the best experience!

We took the 3 hour charter. Perfect amount of time. We caught multiple types of fish. Our Captain was very knowledgeable about the fish we were catching as well as other wildlife in the area. He was also great with our son. He took time to teach him how to use the reel properly. He also cleaned our fish so we could take them with us. It was a great trip and would definitely recommend to others. We hope to book again in the future. Thanks!

A private charter is always something that I have wanted to do in all the years that we have been coming to Gulf Shores. Free Bird Inshore / Offshore Charters and Captain Jerry did not disappoint! Depending on what you want to fish for captain Jerry took us on a quick 10 min boat ride and put us right on the fish ! In our 2 hour trip we caught 71 white trout! Captain Jerry was very professional and knowledgeable about the surroundings and the fish we were gonna catch. Lastly he filleted every fish for us and gave us a local recipe for cooking our fish and it was delicious! Thanks again Free Bird, you will see us again next year as my son is asking if we can book it now !

This was our 1st fishing trip experience and definitely not our last! I took my 2 kids who are 9 and 15! My son loves to fish so this was most definitely the highlight of his trip! He said he wanted to catch a big fish and he did just that and his smile was PRICELESS! Captain Jerry put us on fish all day, the kids pretty much caught something everytime! He was a great captain and very patient with my kiddos which I appreciated! He even taught miss Leah how to fillet a fish when the trip was over! The trip was a great experience and we all enjoyed ourselves, we couldnโt have asked for a better Captain for our 1st fishing trip!!!ย We were very grateful to get to know Jerry, he is one of the most selfless, kind, generous people and I thank him very much for getting to know me and my kids and making our trip an unforgettable oneโค๏ธ๐ฃ
