It started with disappointment when we get there and find out that the captain with 27 yrs of experience is off that day. He was not busy with other guests. He was just not working. That was one of the selling points of a $500+ trip. Instead we got a guy that had only been in Alabama for a few months. He was a nice gentlemen and did the best he could but it was obvious that he had not been fishing here long. We caught a few whiting and a few other small fish. It equated to a glorified bream fishing trip with scenery. Extremely underwhelming to say the least.

Caught plenty of fish, Captain John was very knowledgeably of area and was very helpful and friendly. Will book again for sure.

You could not go in the Gulf to fish because your group could not handle the conditions of the seas. So you choose to go fishing in calm waters and then complain about your trip. Goes to show that you canโt please everyone and everyone has there own opinion. !! If you would have been able to go where I wanted to fish you would have cought this!!
