10 hours on water and no fish of takeable size Skipper made excuses He said he had not experienced current like that on the day Kept moving from one fishing spot to another so lots of travel time between places where few fish were caught
Excuses? Reasons. Itโs the Pacific Ocean, not a fish pond.
The charter operator canceled 6 days prior to the trip date. This is an automated posting.
when we rang a booked we were told it was a deep bottom fish approx. around a 10 hour trip this was a Birthday present for a 70th and my son chaperon his grandfather. I have since been told this is not the first time this boat has been overloaded to its capacity in the name of making a dollar . I suggest you find another occupation as you have lost the passion as to why you probably started this venture in the first place . The worse days fishing is better that the best day working .!! but this was not made pleasurable by any means ,had you of provided what you stated and been able to head out to one of your better spots with less bodies on board you might have been able to produce some fish . Also is my concern to your Safety briefing on the boat ? if something happens read the sign !! My Grandfather whom cant swim had no idea where the life jackets were ? I took a look and an arrow indicated they were under eveybodyโs gear ! A lot of good that is if the inevitable was to happen eh. Yep cant say I would recommend you Charter in the future .

Hello Barry We are licenced for 29 people. We booked up to 20 on a public day when it is busy -between a couple of weeks before Christmas and about 5 January. The day you went out there were 17 people on board. To catch fish you need to at least put a line in the water. Our safety record is 100% we have never had an incident or lost anyone overboard. If the inevitable did happen, I assure you the lifejackets are accessible within seconds. **hidden content**.nz
I found it frustrating, kept on changing spots even though fishing was happening. Time wasting!
Rubbish. 5 stops for no fish. Fishing but no catching. Once we got into them I only moved to get back onto them when fluctuating wind swung us off the school.
