It would be hard to imagine two more fun and fish filled days on the water than the ones Captain Rogel and his first mate Burger gave us. They’re friendly, entertaining, first-rate teachers and experienced professionals who know the water and put us at ease immediately. On day one the 4 of us boated more snappers and mackerel than we could count, which Burger turned into a delicious beach BBQ lunch, and the captain gave me and my son a flyfishing lesson for the hundreds of bonefish cruising the flats just off the beach. We ended the afternoon taking our time at a great snorkeling site.
We had so much fun we had to book again, this time for a day of snorkeling with lunch in Caye Caulker. Burger picked us up early and got us to the popular snorkeling sites before the crowds showed up and we then headed for Caye Caulker. A gorgeous day in and out of the water. I also have to mention that my son left his watch on the boat and the captain went out of his way and drove back into town to get it back to us that evening. Book Captain Rogel, you will not be disappointed.

First trip with Rogel was flyfishing for bonefish. I’m an intermediate flyfisher, friend beginner. This was a physical and mental challenge for us Colorado girls not used to distance casting /ocean. He was an excellent teacher and extremely patient and supportive. He worked hard to give us chances and some hard fought success. :)

I had so much fun I booked him again with another friend for half day reef fishing/lobster spearfishing later in the week. Again i appreciated how he sized us up/pushed us. I think it was our best day in Belize. Conch, lobster and snapper—more than we can eat. Lots of smiles and laughs.

Had a great half day reef fishing trip catching plenty of snapper and Spanish mackerel with Rogel and Burger.  They were very entertaining and we started catching fish right away at the first spot they picked.  I’d definitely recommend them for reef fishing and I’m now going to try fly fishing with Rogel in a couple days!

Second trip with Rogel.  We reef fished one day and spear fished on the second trip.  We caught over 30 snapper on a half day trip.  Rogels knowledge and experience separates him from other charter Captains we used in the past.  He did a great job teaching my two boys how to spear fish and each of them we able to get fish.  His first mate Burger (nickname) was very entertaining and made sure we comfortable on the boat.  Anyone that books with them will not be disappointed.
