Limited out on trout in under 3 hours! I took my two kids out and we had an absolute blast. We were originally scheduled for a night trip with Captain Bud, but storms pushed us to the next morning. Captain Steven took great care of us. We’re all amateur fishers, and he made sure the kids had fun catching croakers for bait. After about 20–30 of those, we headed out and landed a ton of speckled trout.  We’ll definitely be looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time with Captain Bud!  Very windy morning and wind direction change which we know slows the fish bite but he put us on fish!  Great time talking about hunting and fishing with captain Bud! We fished right up to the last second! Would definitely book him again and even looking into a duck hunting trip with him. Thanks for taking great care of us!

I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a pleasurable fishing time. We did well fishing, even though that’s not guaranteed to happen everyday. The captain put us on red drum and trout. Unfortunately all the red drum we caught were too big to keep but that’s not a bad thing!  The captain and the equipment were all first class.

Mott Ridge Charters did an amazing job taking our 16 year old boys out and he sure showed them a fantastic time!  These memories will last a lifetime.  Captain Steven will put you on the fish and show you a great time!  We will definitely be reaching out to them next time we need to fish!

Met Cpt Hamilton at the launch at 0545. We had asked to try to catch some trout on lures, so we got an early start. Ended up finishing with live bait, but he put us on the fish and we limited on trout.  We all had a great time.
