We had a great time on the lake! Anthony and his son Trevor were extremely knowledgeable and sociable. Anthony not only told us about how their fishing process worked, but also gave us awesome facts about the lake and surrounding areas! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Captain Tony and his Mate were great. We caught our limit in no time. He’s friendly and knowledgeable… Took photos for us. One of my best fishing exotics ever!

We went out fishing today 9/9/23. We had never done this before and were really looking forward to it. We had planned this weekend trip around it basically. We were also celebrating my little brothers 13th birthday. He absolutely loves fishing but never got the chance to do something like this. We were all looking forward to it. I understand it’s not guaranteed you catch anything or that the weather will be great, but I feel as if the weather should have been checked again this morning and possibly rescheduled for another time. The water was so choppy, the waves were pretty big. The captain was friendly but we honestly wish he would have explained things more and engaged us more in the process, as we hadn’t ever done anything like this. We had two bites within the first 45 minutes but neither one of them made it onto the boat, for the other 4 hours we just sat there , mainly slept because we were tired and bored and no one was talking. It was a horrible first time experience which is really unfortunate being as we had been looking forward to this for awhile especially my younger brother. The trip was for him. The captain asked us where we were from and we told him we were from PA, 5 hours away. After the trip was over we weren’t offered a discount or an apology nothing. We were really upset and disappointed. Like I said before I understand things aren’t guaranteed but being that we had never done this before and traveled so far to do this I would have expected a discount at the very least, we even tipped 20% because that’s just the kind of person I am, but I instantly regretted it after we left , we spent so much money and we really had a bad experience. The captain offered us a discount “if we ever came back again” even though we live 5 hours away. Times are tough right now and this trip is by no means cheap, and we left completely disappointed and dissatisfied. I just wish it would have been handled a little better. It seemed as if he just wanted our money and didn’t even care.

Waited out the storm and hooked into a few nice steelhead.  The captain and his son were awesome and worked hard for us but the fish were scattered a bit.
