My wife and I booked an afternoon trip around 1230-1 when our cruise got in. I honestly wasnโt sure we would catch any as it was higher winds and afternoon. I hoped for just one fish. We trolled for about a half hour and saw so many dolphins and a few sea turtles. Was so cool to be out there and see the dolphins jumping around us. About another half hour or so we suddenly got one on and it was big! The captain and his daughter did an amazing job to get it in. We battled it about 2 hours and to our surprise a trophy blue marlin 9 ft long. We will definitely book with them again!

Itโs called fishing not catching for a reason.ย Slow day today for us and a lot of boats.ย Crew never gave up.ย Constantly switching up baits, tinkering with speed, going further out to deeper water trying to find the bite.ย Eventually landed some yellow fin tunas.ย They left baits out and actively worked until we pulled back in marina.ย Crew was attentive, good communicators and worked their tails off trying to make good things happen.
Fishing was good, but they did not tell us about the fishing lisence. When we arrived we were asked to pay for lfishing lisence for $20 each. Could not pay with cc, only cash. Felt like a total scam. Then when we left the docks the captian said we had to buy our own live bait. Never been on a charter like that. None of this was mentioned ahead of time, and can as total surprise. They ended up getting some live bait, but we ran out of it, halfway during our trip. Other then that captian and mate were fine.

The information about what the trip includes is clearly specified. If you didnโt read the information correctly or omitted it, thatโs not our fault. We still paid for the live bait and included beers and drinks not included in the trip, as well as the ingredients so you could make sashimi. None of this is included in the trip, and you still didnโt have the courtesy to leave a tip. You were given special treatment. If we had wanted to scam you, none of this would have been included.
Excellent communication and friendly crew.ย Caught 5 tuna and 1 Mahi Mahi.ย Came in Carnival cruise and was easy to make connection with boat.
