We arrived at the dock and were underway within minutes of stepping on board.  Captain Gabe and his first mate Nick were amazing throughout.  We caught a few king salmon early and then moved to trout later in the trip.  We were 3 novice fishermen n board and the pace at which we caught fish was steady and comfortable.  We ended up without 10 total , including an 18.3 lb. lake trout.  We will definitely be back next year and HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Elsie K. and crew!

Gabe was very attentive to his equipment and was knowledgeable enough to be able to adjust methods on the fly to keep the fish biting.

For a group with mixed fishing experience and sea legs, Capt. Gabe and first mate Nick led an awesome charter!  The day before, they asked to move our launch to the morning to avoid rough weather, which was the right call.  Good fishing, great memories, highly recommend.

From the time we arrived at the dock from when we were handed our bags of filets Gabe worked his tail off. I had added 1 extra person from what was originally booked (4-5), Gabe was very open to this request. My husband, our younger son, my adult son, his girlfriend and my dad all went out today. Our ages ranged from 12 to 72. We all had a good time and everyone enjoyed it. We should highly recommend doing this.
