Thank you for your review Scott, as we always appreciate feedback, but I am surprised that you noted in your review that you do not recommend Rhino Charger Sport Fishing and did not elaborate more on your experience with us. I would like to point out that our staff were very helpful with offering advice on how to get to the meeting spot when you advised us that you were staying in Playa Grande, which is a 40 minute drive from Tamarindo. As for the trip itself, the morning was quite slow we will admit but this is, of course, the nature of fishing as we donโt know what any day will bring. Even so, our captain was able to find tuna in the afternoon and our crew helped you land a decent 30 pound yellow-fin tuna, which we can confirm was the best any other charter did that day. As you can see by our many 5 star reviews, we are one of the most well respected and reputable charters in Tamarindo. I understand it was a slow day, but our crew did their best to ensure you had a great time with us and managed to put you on the fish by the afternoon. Might I suggest in the future booking a full day charter to help maximise your chances of catching more fish. As you did not comment on your experience, please feel free to make direct contact with us if you would like to comment further about your trip - we always appreciate the feedback! Regardless, we hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Tamarindo and get to return again soon!

Boat was nice. Crew was nice. Caught a Wahoo and a Marlin!
Unbelievable boat and crew.ย Highly recommended!!!
It was a tough day fishing, the captain trolled for hours. We got 3 hits a nice yellow fin and a massive bull mahi mahi. The last was a marlin that was fierce, so much that it yanked the whole rod and reel out of my hand. The boat has a fighting chair but no belt that could have avoided this costly incident. $1100 was the cost of this. All in all it was a good trip.. I recommend it even with the incident.
Hi Jose thanks for the review .Sorry about the rod and reel ( first for me ) we do have several belts on the boat for stand up fishing. Hopefully you get a chance to come back and fish with us again when you come back in November ย tight lines Captain Rick
Captain Rick was beyond helpful in just helping us navigate our way around the country! The boat and equipment are first class and the crew is very helpful. These are the guys to use out of Tamarindo.
thanks Joey I am glad you enjoyed your trip. come back if you get the chance ย Rick
