Absolutely awesome & amazing crew with Michael, Nacho & Victor! This was my first time deep sea fishing and our expectations for the entire day were well exceeded! This crew are so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, fun, patient & outstanding teachers for fishing! They made my husband and I feel Immediately at home and felt like we were like family instantly! It was the most relaxing day on this beautiful boat! They provided drinks, snacks-my favoriteโfresh pineapple and an amazing Costa Rican lunch. I caught several yellowfin tuna, amberjack, skipJack and landed my dream fish of a Dorado!! It was 50lbs! All throughout getting the mahi into the boat, the three guys worked well together to direct me every step Of reeling this mahi mahi in! Caught our dinner & it was unforgettable! I also had a 500-600lb Black Marlin on for a few minutes, but he spit the hook! Needless to say, my husband and I will be back to Costa Rica to fish with Rhino charger and ONLY this crew of men! Thank you for an amazing day & a lifetime memory we will never forget! See yโall soon! Pura Vida!๐ค๐ป

Captain Mike and friends are very friendly and eager to provide a great experience. Captain Mike asked what is the plan. I asked how is the sail bite. He said raised one the day before. We ventured out for sails. Stop on the way out to catch small Albies or false albacore for bait. We trolled with squid teasers and ballyhoo. Did not use the albies.ย No rises. On the way back in, we fished the raft seen on the way out. The raft had birds, bait, Yellow fin, and Cobia. Soon we hooked up with a small Cobia then two yellow fin around 25 pounds each.
Plenary of food and drinks.
A panga is used to seamlessly for pick up and return between the moored boat and the beach.
Traveled may be 15 miles offshore all the while seeing mountains boarding the Atlantic.
I would do this trip again with more planning and coordination on the season and current bite.
Remember to tip well. Mark

Where do I start, what an amazing fishing experience on our first trip to CR. If looking to go out of Tamarindo, look these guys up!!! Personally wasnโt that excited to catch a Blue Marlin or Sailfish, we really like to catch what we can eat; but Iโm hooked now as Captain Michael put us on the them. One of only 2/13 in the fleet to hook up a Marlin that day and previous reports were spotty at best, then to bring in three delicious Mahi Mahi to top that off, unforgettable!!
The crew - the cherry on top - the lunch provided was so authentic and fresh (shout out to Victors mom, the chef) one of the best meals all week. Francisco was an awesome first mate and was always positive with his encouragement and instructions when the action became hot! He always had good stories to tell about the area and a little bit of history as well. As this is being written, I am already recommending to friends coming to CR this weekend. So, I would definitely recommend to anyone else in the area! Go fishing with these guys!
