We caught our limit of Kings and tons of Spanish mackerel on the 4 hour morning trip. Captain Will and deckhang George had the boat ready to go for a prompt departure - no wasting time!

They had us on fish almost immediately after leaving port and action was non-stop. They were informative, helpful,  and knowledgeable.  The boat was comfortable and well-equipped. 

They cleaned our catch and pointed us in the direction of a few “cook your catch” restaurants which turned out great!

We will definitely rebook next time we’re in Orange Beach!

This charter was great! Capt Will and George are super nice, down to earth guys and very professional. We did the 6hr snapper trip- caught our limit of red snapper and trigger fish.  George was always right there getting fish off the hooks and rebaiting our lines. At times we were reeling in 3-4 fish at once. Capt Will told us how deep to drop and we had fish on in less than a minute. Lots of action and very fun trip! This was my son’s first deep sea fishing trip and he loved it. The boat is top notch and inside ac was nice and cool, although we stayed outside the entire trip. Great Escape charter is who we’ll be going with on our future fishing trips.  Thanks again Will and George!

Would highly recommend Great Escapes. Will and George are excellent! Brought us to the spots, knew the depths to be and we quickly limited out on Red Snapper. Went on to catch Spanish Mackerel and King Fish. Plenty of room for our group of 4 (Would venture to say larger groups would find the same). Only recommendation I’d have for having a better trip has nothing to do with Great Escapes, but our decision not to take motion sickness medicine. If you don’t know how you’ll fair, I’d recommend taking before you go. Still great trip! Great fishing! And great guys!! Thanks again

Captain Will did an excellent job putting us on some fish during our morning trip! George made sure landed the fish and that everyone had a great time. 10/10, plan on booking again next time we’re on vacation!

We booked a 4 hour charter with captain Will and his first mate George. They kept us on the fish as we were trolling. Ended up filling a cooler with several Spanish Mackerels and three pretty good sized King Mackerels. The Kings fought but those Spanish Mackerels all but swam to the boat with the exception of a couple of em. All in all, great first trip out with these guys.

My family enjoyed it with the exception of my 12 year old daughter. She’s just not into fishing for some reason. The boat has a couch that she pretty much stayed on the whole time. It was fine. She put her headphones on and just jammed her tunes while her mom and 10 year old brother enjoyed the trip out on the water.

We ran 3 lines out behind the boat. 2 we’re essentially the same setup with a 3rd bigger jig running out further behind the boat. It didn’t even budge. Fish just didn’t like it for some reason. The other 2 jigs lost their color they got hit so much!
