I booked this fishing charter as a gift for my son’s 16 birthday. We were on a cruise with carnival. We were able to book the cruise to match up with our time ashore. Our captain and mate were very pleasant and tried to make our experience meaningful. The weather was very windy which limited where we could go in the boat, and we later found out that typically, December reef fishing on Cozumel is very unexciting . We caught quite a few very small fish, but nothing worth keeping.

Mario and his boat were perfect. Brought us to some great reef spots and we caught a bunch of snapper and triggerfish. We Had a big battle with a deep see fish that sadly got away. His hospitality was fantastic and gave us great advice as we are newer to fishing. We cooked up our fish after at the hotel and it was incredible. Would recommend to anyone looking for fishing trip in Cozumel!!!

Captain Mario was awesome! My son and I booked a completely private half-day trip for best price ever… (have spent much more for large group rate in US!) Captain Mario tried hard to find us a mahi mahi or wahoo to catch- though we had no luck with those, in the end we caught 2 barracuda so the trip was a success! Captain Mario was so personable.
