If the weather hadn’t been so ideal this would have been a disappointing outing. Caught only chum on a crowded public dock.

We did not catch a fish.  The fish swimming around the dock were not eatable dog salmon basically at the end of their life cycle.  Take a boat if we want to find the eatable salmon and beware of seasonal fishing.

This is a shore fishing experience. The management was very friendly and helpful. Complete rain gear was provided. I appreciated also the quick tour of the salmon hatchery.
