We had an amazing time on the water yesterday with Captain Arturo! I definitely recommend the full day trip because he keeps you on the fish, you won’t want it to stop! He put us on tons of reds & trout, we even caught a few big bait fish. Bring a lot of water! We had a great day fishing with Arturo. He did whatever he had to do to make sure we had a good fishing experience. The only thing I would do differently is fish with fewer people on board. We had 6. We would certainly use Arturo again.

There were wind advisories the day we booked with Captain Arturo on July 14th which made the fishing tough.  Captain Arturo worked extremely hard to put us some fish.  I would book with him again on my next trip to South Padre Island.

Even though the bite wasn’t great, we did end up catching 3 keeper speckled trout that we kept. In general the fishing was slow, but not sure that was a reflection of the guide. There were fish jumping all around us, so he put us on fish, they just weren’t overly aggressive. The guide was a nice guy and fun to talk to about fishing and that made the trip a fun time. I would recommend booking a trip with Get ‘Em’ Hooked

Captain Arturo worked hard to get us on fish but unfortunately not much was caught, leading up to the trip he went out of his way to ask if we wanted to start the morning trolling for kings because of how calm it was. Not only that, my fiancé is terribly allergic to shellfish. When I asked him about using a different kind of bait, he also had his boat completely detailed.
