Arturo was great!  We all caught several fish and he kept us on the action.  Some guides have their predetermined spots but Arturo was great about keep us moving to make sure we were on the fish.  We had two kiddos with us and he was great with them.  Also told us about some great local hangs for after the fishing trip.

Arturo was very good replying quickly to all my messages as we had some questions being first time fishing at South Padre. That gave us a lot of confidence that we were in good hands. It was also first time fishing for my son and even it was not best day (very few catches) for all who were out that day,  Arturo went the extra mile so our experience was a good one. . We did catch a few but only one keeper, that was enough for big meal for my son and I. Thanks Arturo.

I took my wife and two sons and we all had a blast. Raul is very experienced and knows what he’s doing. He has a huge boat that can easily fit six persons.  He will do everything possible to put you on some fish. Our biggest excitement was when one of my sons caught a bonnethead shark. He was very excited.  It was a rough day and unfortunately, we were unable to take any keepers. However,  I will definitely book again with Captain Raul. He was fun to fish with.

At the beginning of the trip Arturo wasn’t able to take us to his usual spots due to a Space X engine test. He was concerned and tried really hard to find some fish. Thankfully, he was finally able to get to his spot and my son had a lot of fun. He caught 2 big reds and some other small fish. Arturo was great and very helpful with fishing hints for my son. Thank you Arturo for a great fishing trip. We will be back next year again.

We will definitely book with Arturo again next time we are in South Padre. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best fishing trip possible. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a guide out of SPI. Good fishing, good tunes, great company 🤙🏻
