The fishing was a great experience but capt Ken really set it over the top. SUPER friendly, inviting and enthusiastic about fishing and making it a fun experience for everyone. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and in turn provides a top notch experience. 10/10 would recommend him specifically if you are wanting a down to earth guide who is just really having a fun time everytime he goes out in the boat! Came in from the east coast to see what the Columbia and Willamette River had to offer and Captain Ken of 2 Net Charters didn’t disappoint. We had a 3 man charter booked for a beautiful Wednesday morning on the water. Captain Ken’s experience on the Columbia had us locked in to the fish right away. We each caught two fish well over 42” each and I was fortunate enough to have landed the monster of the day measuring in at 77” and likely close to or over 200 lbs., too big to bring on the boat. What an experience and what a great day of fishing. Thanks to Captain Ken two of us have new personal best catches under our belts. We had a great morning of fishing!  Ken was awesome with my 15 year old non-fishing grandson. The morning was a wonderful educational experience. Ken taught O how to fish for trout, how to land them, how to net them and how to clean them. Ken talked about locations, water temps, times, bait presentation and when to catch and release vs when it was better to keep the fish. Great conversations about fishing for other species, salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, etc. Ken allowed O to make his own decisions about where to fish, when to check the bait, etc. It was a great experience fishing with a knowledgeable, friendly and patient guide. And the boat and gear were top of the line and in great shape. I highly recommend 2 Net Guide Service, whether you are an experienced angler or a total newbie.
