Hired Captain George Trice to take my kids cobia fishing for my son’s birthday.  The day started off cloudy and much windier and more choppy than the weather forecast had predicted.  George and his mate both worked very hard to get us on fish in difficult conditions, and even ran our trip a little longer than we had booked to ensure we had a good day.  They did not disappoint, and we had a great day!  I would highly recommend Islander Sportfishing.

Our family group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our morning.  Despite the wind creating ocean conditions which weren’t ideal, Captain George worked to ensure we still had an awesome experience.  This was our second trip with Captain George and we will be back!

Captain George and Landon put us on the biggest school of drum I’d ever seen.  We nailed em and left when we got tired… Not when the fishing stopped!  Without doubt the biggest redfish/drum we’ve ever seen.  A real thrill and experience.

Great day on the water. Caught two Cobias and three flounder and some sea bass. Captain and 1st mate explained things, were very social and knew where the fish were. Would highly recommend this charter!

Cpt. George and his first mate did an excellent job making it a fun trip with fish in the boat for my kids first charter. The weather didn’t cooperate but he quickly changed tactics and was able to stay out of the wind/waves for the safety of my young kinds but still put us on fish for them to catch and have a great time. They’re already talking about wanting to do it again and we will for sure book another trip with Cpt. George and Islander Sportsfishing!
