When we booked we assumed we would have Captain Charles because almost every review talks about him.  The positive reviews about Charles were the reason we chose to book on this charter.  We were initially a little disappointed when we showed up and Charles wasn’t there (we didn’t know that ahead of time).  However, Andre (Charles’ cousin) and Jim were our crew and they were great.  Funny guys and definitely knew what they were doing out there.  We did the tour the first day and saw the pigs, sea turtles, snorkeled, fished and had a great lunch.  Did some bottom fishing and caught a lot.

Day two (same crew) we were out to catch bigger fish.  We started the day trolling and quickly caught two very large barracudas which was awesome.  We caught a bunch of other fish as the day went on and had a blast.

Would definitely recommend this charter despite some initial hiccups.  There are nicer boats with nicer equipment but I thought this was a great value and we had an excellent overall experience!

Captain Charles was on time as promised to pick us up from Atlantis marina. Very friendly, very knowledgeable. He took us out to the reefs showing us some celebrity homes along the way. Once we got to the reef they quickly had us baited and in the water. Right from the start we caught (2) 4 foot barracudas, quickly after we caught yellowtail snapper, grouper, and spotted mackerel. We ended up with 15-16 keepers. He then took us to the poop deck where they cooked it for us.  Freshly caught blackened snapper was a great way to end our trip. I would definitely recommend captain Charles for your fishing experience.

Over the last few years, we have taken several fishing trips in the Bahamas and similar excursions from cruises.  Without exception, our best day of a family trip ever.  Our group included two teens, me and the wife, adult son, and two elderly friends.  Short ride to the fishing and we caught fish almost immediately.  Captain King (CJ), with first mate Babba, kept us on the fish and we caught several keepers.  We then took a short trip to swimming with the pigs, which was unexpectedly really fun with and source of some comical pictures/videos.  Following, off to a snorkel reef which put on hundreds of beautiful fish in good waters.  Asking for a good place to cook the fish, the Captain then shuttled us to a small island restaurant.  Captain CJ filleted our fish, and while we waited for it to be cooked, brought us fried conch fritters and fries to snack on.  Fish was DELICIOUSLY prepared and the price for cooking, drinks, sides, tips, and taxes for the seven of us at the restaurant less than $70 US!  The most economical meal we had the entire trip and more food than we could eat.  After stuffing ourselves with food, we took a short hop by the turtle reservoir where I was able to swim with the sea turtles and capture some amazing underwater video.  If you are looking for a trip where the Captain and crew treat you like friends, not just another day of business, then this is the trip you should take from Nassau. 

Last, but not least, whereas we’ve had to arrange taxi to the pier on previous trips, the Captain emailed with me prior to the trip and agreed to pick us up from the Marina at Atlantis with no extra cost and before our scheduled departure time…we were picked up and dropped off at Atlantis and still received the full day’s charter time on our adventures.  The time spent between activities was short.  We’ve been on others were it seemed more boating than action and the quick turns between activities was much appreciated.  Coolest ending of all, on the return, Captain King piloted us through the waterfall areas under Atlantis on approach to the dock area.  All agreed, our best excursion to date.

The Capt. and his crew know the area well and all the good fishing spots. We caught a ton of fish! Crew is very knowledgeable and eager to help with tips and tricks. We are a family for 4 with a 12 & 14 year old. I highly recommend CaptainC and his crew for an excellent day out fishing and enjoying being out on the water.

We fished from 8am-12pm on a partly cloudy morning in Nassau. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 4 kids between 9 and 12 years old. We started off with a big triggerfish, then several strawberry grouper, sheepshead, grunts, etc. we hooked a couple sharks but had trouble keeping them on. The kids were having a blast. We then hooked a massive 7-8 foot nurse shark… Captain Charles got him to the surface for the kids to see then let him go. It was a memorable trip for sure!
