Crew and fishing were great, boat was a great size but was not clean and dated on the interior.  Smelled heavily of cigarette smoke.  Other than that, a great trip.

Underwhelming experiences from start to finish, with the exception of the First mate Brett. He was first class the entire trip, no negative comments about that kid…much respect and best of luck to you sir! All other aspects were lackluster. I am aware it’s called fishing, not catching, but I’ve been on enough expeditions of this nature to have prospective. It’s not as if we capsized, but we simply were made to feel as if we were nothing more than a paycheck. I am fully aware this is in fact all that we are but some effort should be made for us to not feel that way. No enthusiasm or excitement from the Captain, other than him reminding us in the beginning of how hard they work for us and we should take care of them, paycheck.  It wasn’t terrible, just unimpressive.  Take that for what it’s worth, maybe my standards are too high.
