Pancho worked and worked. We trolled for roosters and then I suggested we bottom fish. Pancho headed to some reefs pretty far south almost to Chileno! Some hits, but only caught 2. Even was chummin’ a storm. Trolled again back to the marina. Nada! Just one of those days, gorgeous costal views though! That’s why they call it fishing! I should have gone all in for some Mahi given the fishing reports, but I wanted chill and to avoid an early morning wake up. Got that! Thanks Pancho! Next time we’ll get em! Captain, boat, bait etc all what you would expect!

Positives: - The boat and the equipment are decent—great, in fact, given the price compared to other charters. - The owner is a nice man, as is the captain.
Negatives (to my taste): - The captain (the guy who actually drives the boat) does not speak English, so he wouldn’t explain how to fish or what to do. He would do all the work and then hand over the rod for you to reel the fish in. It really felt more like a boat ride than fishing, in my opinion. - I did not enjoy the deep sea fishing, as you just ride around for hours under the sun, hoping a fish will bite. Then I guess I’d get to reel it in. Cool…? :)
You might like this operator if you are an experienced fisherman looking for an affordable ride, or if you’re doing it for the first time and will simply be happy to take a picture with the fish. For context, I’ve done a number of bottom fishing charters before and liked that way more. We didn’t find any big fish in the deep sea, but that’s certainly not the captain’s fault.

Hi Dmitry, thank you for your feedback.
We’re surprised by your review, especially considering the results of your trip: you caught a big roosterfish, released a jack, and even saw a marlin—although it didn’t bite. That’s a solid experience in our waters.
Our captain may not speak fluent English, but he puts his full effort into every trip. He focused on giving you the best possible chance at catching fish, and it showed. Sometimes, actions speak louder than words.
Deep-sea fishing isn’t like bottom fishing—it’s about searching, patience, and timing. You can go hours without action and then suddenly have the fish of a lifetime on the line. That’s what makes it exciting and unpredictable.
Your comment might seem small, but it has a real impact—not just on a boat’s reputation, but on the families who depend on these trips. We offer affordable, honest service, and for guests who prefer a premium experience with bilingual crews and more guidance, we also have higher-end boats available.
We wish you the best in future adventures, and we invite you to see the heart and effort behind each charter.

Caught 2 dorado and a bonita.. good trip.
This was a slow day of fishing and Captain Reuben worked hard for the two yellow fin tuna we caught. It is early in the whale migration and we saw four pods of hump back whales. The whales breached dramatically which is always dramatic.
