We had a great afternoon on the water with Captain Mendez and crew. We are a family of 5 first time fishing in Costa Rica. We caught a Mahi Mahi and had dinner that night:-) The Captain brought chips, wasabi and soy and prepared sushimi right on the boat for us. The crew was very knowledgeable and shared information about the surrounding areas while we were heading out to the bay. Definitely would recommend this trip!

Juan Carlos and Roberto were great company! We ended up catching only one fish… tuna. And Roberto treated us like kings serving it up with some tortilla chips. Delicious! We got to see whales, sea turtles, manta rays and more. Well worth the trip!

Great trip, we booked a 8 hour trip. We started off in shore a caught Several Rooster Fish. A then moved off shore and caught some Mahi an a tuna. Crew worked hard to keep us in the fish. The Mahi ceviche on the boat was best I’ve had yet.

Captain Mendez and his crew made sure we had a great time on his boat. He consulted with us and set a plan for the 5-hour trip. Everyone was friendly Captain and crew were as happy with the catches as my son. This trip was a highlight for my teen son.

We trolled for several hours with no luck hoping to land a rooster fish. Ended the day with some good bottom fishing and landed 6 red snapper. Juan Carlos cut up the best ice cold pineapple my wife and I ever had.  He worked hard for us.
