Took the family out for a near shore half day trip, fished some reefs in approximately 35-45 ft and caught an abundance of species of fish, from blacktip sharks, few different snappers, a Spanish Mackerel, Grunts, and about 10 Groupers (all just under the size limit) except for the last one, he bunkered down hard on the bottom and wouldn’t come up, but it was still fun watching my 11 year old wear himself out fighting with it for 15 minutes HaHa!
All in all, we had a great time and Captain Alex did an excellent job seeing that all of our needs were met, thank you Alex. The Mackerel and Snapper were delicious!

Captain Mike was great and very knowledgeable! Made the trip more enjoyable, Fishing was great he put us on all the right spots. I can’t wait till next year to fish with them again.

We had so much fun today on the boat with Captain Mike. He was so patient with us and accommodating to whatever we needed or wanted. Thanks for helping us catch a barracuda!

The boat was great and Captain Mike was nice and knowledgeable and helpful. We were disappointed in the short time spent fishing. Most of our time was spent driving between fishing spots which were far apart. We caught many fish that were too small and ended up with four keepers.
Another problem worth mentioning is a lack of accommodation for women who may have to relieve themselves during the four hours. We expect to hang off the side of the boat, but we need a ladder!

Friday was a fantastic day to be on the water, warm temperatures, light wind and coastal fog made it feel very comfortable.
The fish were biting, but being sheepshead “convict” fish, they were masters of spitting the hook, half way up. We still managed a respectable caught.  Fun day!
