Captain Shelby, Captain Andy’s son, was the perfect choice for our half day of shark fishing off Jekyll Island, Georgia.

The boat had a Bimini top to provide shade.  Shelby welcomed us with an easy laugh, marine wildlife facts and local island tidbits.

The day was windy so Captain Shelby adapted to stay closer inshore behind a shrimp boat. His efforts paid off! Our college kids got in plenty of “reel action”. The family got 16 hits and pulled in ten significant sharks to catch and release!

We learned about specific behavior differences between sharks. Shelby was quick to move lines and position the boat during catches.

It was a pleasure to have Captain Shelby as our guide. The fishing trip was a wonderful time to bond before everyone is headed back to college and a great start to Shark Week!

Had a great time with Captain Shelby and Nate for a morning of fishing. They do a wonderful job helping you with all your fishing needs. Nate did a great job with bringing the fish aboard and assisting with our needs. They took us to 2 different spots so that we could catch fish. We ended up catching multiple 4 ft sharks, 3 stingrays, 2 eel and 1 fish. Definitely recommend this crew and we will return again!!

Awesome fishing trip with Captain Shelby . Stayed on the fish all trip . 3 people and we all caught sharks , 4 different kinds . My son caught a big Black tip , Spinner, I caught Finetooth , Mom got a Black nose , rods were bent all day long . Will definitely book another trip .

Captain Shebly was all set and ready for us. He took us to several different spots that he thought we might see some bigger fish. We caught several smaller to medium fish and a few sharks. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
