Iโve been out a couple of times with Captain Rich. We did one outing at Occoquan that was a bit of a bust due to conditions, but Rich went out of his way to make sure we had some success. For beginners like me heโll vary bait and tackle as needed to adjust for the situation so the day ends up on a high note. The second time was a beautiful day on the upper Potomac after some rain where we hooked about 40 smallmouth between us. His boat is ideal for two but you could make things work comfortably with a small third. I plan on booking again and taking one of my sons once they are more comfortable on the water. Overall Rich provides a great fishing experience!

The day was a bit slow, but we caught some quality fish, including a 21โ smallmouth. Captain Rich was great.
Captain Rich is both a knowledgeable and an enjoyable companion.ย Our day on the Upper Potomac, despite adverse wind water conditions, was a success. I recommend him and look forward to a future trip with him for shad on the Occuquan,

I booked the half day charter for my husbandโs birthday present. We have small children and he canโt go fishing as much as he would like to. My husband took our older son and they had a blast! They both had huge smiles on their faces when they got home and said they had a great time. Thank you Captain Johnson! We will keep you in mind for future charters.
