Was very disappointed that we only brought home one fish. We went to a spot where we were getting a lot of bites from snooks but none were regulation size. It seems to me that we should have went somewhere else to try to catch something that we could keep. The Captain was nice, the boat was fine. We did try one last stop before heading back an hour early but didn’t catch anything. I would expect to have brought home more fish or at least have had more of an opportunity to catch more. The weather was cooler on this day and we had to go out in the evening instead of the morning. Also with our booking we were told drinks and snacks would be provided, that there would be a bathroom on board and that we would depart from clearwater, none of this was true. No bathroom, no snacks or drinks, and we had to drive to ruskin. I asked about this with the Captain and was told he didn’t know why those things were listed, that it must be the advertising agency they use. The false advertising needs to be fixed and a better opportunity to catch fish that can be taken home would be even better. I hope that all these issues get fixed and that others will have a better experience.

Due to weather, our trip was changed from bow fishing to “general fishing”. This was an understandable change. However, upon arrival in the day of the trip, The boat was extremely small and did not have any of the amenities that were offered in the description. The trip was cut to 2 hours instead of 6 due to one person getting sick, which may not have happened if it wasn’t like riding a raft through the choppiest of bay waters. We’ve all been on board before and have never had this issue. Even so, I’m not blaming anyone for this. Regardless, the entire trip was a let down. The captain, however, was the only decent thing about the entire trip. He was friendly and genuinely tried to make the trip pleasurable. He contacted the company to discuss some sort of refund or price differential since the trip was doomed from the start and was told he was not allowed. 600 dollars for 2 hours of moving from spot to spot every 15 minutes. Not even a bite. Fishing is gamble, this we know. But when services promised are not rendered, I tend to have an issue. As aforementioned, the captain was AMAZING. Otherwise the overall would be 0/10. He felt terrible about the way that things ended and apologized for the false advertisement. Unless you are planning a trip with 1-2 people, I do not recommend this trip.
