Our trip was awesome, fun, relaxing, and much needed.  Captain Jay was great!  I caught a shark for the first time ever and my youngest daughter pulled in a black drum which was her first catch ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.  There weren’t many bites, but that’s nature’s fault.  We did get to see a bald eagle too! I’d definitely book with Captain Buddy’s again, hopefully sooner than later!

Captain Jay took 5 adults out on his 26’ center console to 4 or 5 different locations with different species. Although we didn’t have too many bites that morning, his local knowledge of the waters was abundant and he was attentive to be sure everyone’s line kept bait for anything that was moving this time of year. Ended up catching a few whitefish and 2 shark species, everyone had an awesome time.

Captain Jay was awesome! He was very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife, and didn’t mind sharing that knowledge with us. He was very patient with the kids and walked them through everything step by step. The whole experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend booking with Captain Jay. Can’t wait for our next adventure.

Hurricane Helene tried to cancel our trip. But Buddy and his wife Casey did everything to make it happen. We weren’t able to go Fri morning because of the storm. But Casey & Buddy were able to reschedule us for Saturday afternoon, even when he was missing the Dawgs game. We were supposed to do an offshore trip, but Buddy recommended staying in the intracoastal due to winds out on the ocean. He was looking out for the safety of all of us. We caught several Redfish and Black Drum for table fair. My oldest daughter caught a 70 lbs shark which was on her bucket list. She also caught as Buddy said “a tournament winning Bill Red Fish”. Buddy is very educated on meritime eco system and is willing to share this info on your trip. All in all, I highly recommend Buddy for you next fishing Charter.

Captain Jay was fantastic!! We booked a 6 hour near shore and off shore trip, which quickly went sideways when our 11 year old struggled with the swells and got seasick. Captain Jay quickly pivoted and got us over to smoother waters and helped our little guy feel a lot better with a cold pack and a fan. From that point forward we caught shark after shark, including a 5 foot bull shark and a 6 foot sting ray. This day could have been a total bust but it turned out to be amazing and memorable thanks to Captain Jay’s great knowledge of the area, what types of fish go where and when according to the tides, and he was so patient helping a kid reel in large fish. I can’t highly recommend Captain Jay enough!
