Captain Cody was great. He was very knowledgeable of the area and was patient with my family donating his bait to the ocean. He got us on the fish right away and we had an awesome time. We will be booking again on our next visit.

This was our first saltwater fishing experience. Cody put us on the fish and took care of everything. He was great with my 9 year old son, and really taught him a lot. I’ve fished with some of the best guides in other locations and this was totally on par. Communication to coordinate meet-up was quick and easy. If you’re trying to pick between guides don’t hesitate to chose Make a Wake fishing.

We signed up for a half day of nearshore fishing with Captain Cody but the seas were too rough. He recommended that to get us on some fish that we hit the mangroves. He was right, we got five species and had a really nice time. We were not able to keep any of them due to various regulations combined with the red tide, however we had a great time and he was very good company. Great time with capt Cody. He put us on fish right away and we caught alot. Cody is very knowledgeable of the area and new exactly where to go for the fish we wanted to catch. We’ll be back for sure.

Cody was a pleasure to fish with. Very personable and professional. Was able to teach my son and I as well as be very patient when we allegedly made a poor cast or two over a dock or into a tree. He’s a young guy but seems to have more of an old soul when it comes to fishing. I would absolutely book him again as well as highly recommend him to anyone else.
