Hey I wanted to share this review and hope all who reads this enjoys and gets the same experience.
I booked a full day plus charter on 1/19/2023 with captain Xavier, he was very welcoming before my arrival in Florida, he answered all my questions and was in a timely fashion. This was huge for me prior to me even booking the charter.  Communication was great for two weeks prior to charter, day before charter captain reached out and made sure we were still set for our charter. Upon arrival on charter day it was early am and captain was ready to go 30 min early, he picked us up some live bait and off we went to the fishing grounds. Good weather and seas provided a full day of fishing, we tried various methods for different species of fish was impressed with boat, gear, bait, and the sound system yeah! Nice tunes on the water getting that south Florida vibe. As we tried several areas and techniques looking for the big one, caught a nice King Mackerel, some trigger fish, some unicorn looking fish, yellow tail snapper, and of course we had that legendary “monster” on our line. Yes we got videos! Captain put us on some good fish and I got a really good hit, fought this monster for over 20 min with about 7 min on video. Let me say this was a hell of a fish on the line! Took everything I had to hold the ride and fight the fish as we were anchored off shore passing the rod back and fourth under anchor line to keep fish on right side of boat and fighting the weight and pulling of this giant monster. Well let me say we put up a good fight on Reelit Charters but got smoked on the reef, fish broke the line after about 20 min of fighting..

Lol lol Oh my this was a fighter! He got away.. that legendary story! Only if we were able to get him up and in the boat.. what was it? We will never know… Captain said patience pays off well we put up a good fight on Reelit Charters and bagged a few fish and caught a total of probably 10 fish, 5 different species. Captain and I fished all day out on the water very relaxed and enjoyable. We shared plenty of stories and Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and fishing techniques we was a great guy and a pleasure to be on the water with all day. We saw an abundance of wildlife as well.. even seen a sail fish as we were talking about one hitting our line beautiful fish come right out the water prob 20 feet from boat. Overall we had an awesome day just captain Xavier and myself, very chill laid back easy going and great time. I would like to thank Captain Xavier for his time and effort and providing me with a fishing experience I will never forget, and an excellent experience that I would hands down do again. I would like to say that Captain Xavier made me feel very comfortable and right at home. After our day was over Captain cleaned fish for me to take home, he recommended a few places to have them cooked well I went out and had the fish cooked and it was amazing. After the charter was over I felt like I gained a new friend and I would highly recommend Reelit charters to anyone who wants a fishing experience of a lifetime.

Left on the dock on a beautiful Friday morning. Got some great pictures heading out with the sunrise. Xavier was friendly and talked with us about fishing spots and his expectations for what we might be able to find. 2 hours in we simultaneously caught a Wahoo and a Mahi Mahi. Pulled them both in and we were riding high. Unfourtuantly one of our party started getting sick and we were forced to go back early. Xavier was quick to give options that would involve less dramatic waves. All in all, it was a great trip and I highly recommend.

Xavier greeted us prepared and ready to go at our start time.  His knowledge of Lauderdale and of fishing was perfect but the best part was his amazing and friendly personality!  The waters were calm enough for us to leave the intercoastal and venture out into the ocean.  We had a great time and will definitely book again with Xavier!!!
